They recently celebrated thirty-five years of business and opened their last two stores in King Louie in Geneva, Switzerland and in Batavia Stad, the Netherlands. It was just the 1980s when Ann Berlips And George Cramer they started their business in Amsterdam, making their interest in the fashion , born in high school, a real dream. Moving from the item-by-item packaging of the black turtleneck sweater that made them famous, to the actual stock, opening the boutique in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam which would soon make people talk about the talent of the two stylists .

To inspire them, nothing other than the vintage minted in all its most splendid forms that have appeared throughout the various eras. From the 1940s and 1950s King Louie revived the rock-n roll full skirts or him pin-up dresses , dresses with geometric cuts and miniskirts from the 1960s. Finally, the brand couldn't help but revisit the tracksuits of the Seventies flared trousers .

The brand's mission is to bring back the trends of past years to one modern fit and suitable for every woman. Retro prints, graphic patterns with stripes or polka dots give substance to vintage look but surprisingly innovative. Started partly for fun and partly to show themselves that it wasn't just a beautiful dream, from the "Exota" store, which still exists today in Amsterdam, Ann and George decided to face a new challenge: online sales line. First delivered with a retro walking bicycle, the garments made by the fashion house have since 2008 become too numerous and in demand in other countries. Thus, with an eye to the future and happy to leave its mark on the world of fashion , King Louie has now become the hub of home shopping.
